Orienteering Tasmania has suspended entries to the Australian Orienteering Championships 2020 for now.
The OT Board, with agreement from AOC2020 Director Warwick Moore, has decided to delay any decision about the future of AOC2020 until after its next meeting, now scheduled for 15 May.
Prime Minister Morrison has stated that National Cabinet will be reviewing the baseline restrictions currently in place by 14 May.
After this review OT will have better information on which to make a decision about AOC2020 (to press on or delay). And the Board are still committed to making a final decision by 31 May.
If the Championships in Tasmania can not go ahead this year, Orienteering Australia and Orienteering Victoria have agreed that it can be postponed to be held in 2021.
